Terms of Use
Last updated October 7, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Loam Studios Inc. ("we", "us"), a British Columbia company. They cover Workroom: its websites, apps and API (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you accept for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Keep your sign-in details secret; you are responsible for what is done under your account.
3. Your content
You own what you put into the Service. You let us store, copy and display it only as needed to run the Service for you. A workroom's admins control the content in it, including what members add.
4. Our Service
We own the Service and everything in it other than your content. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
We may change the Service, including free plans, and add or remove features. We will tell you before we remove something you pay for.
5. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices do not include taxes, which we add where the law requires. We will tell you about a price change before it applies to you. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the billing period. Fees are not refundable except where the law requires.
6. Ending
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or don't pay, telling you first where practical. When your account closes, we delete your content, except what the law requires us to keep.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You will cover our costs from a claim brought against us because of your content or your breach of these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you about a material change before it takes effect.
9. General
These terms and the policies they name are the whole agreement between us. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada, and disputes go to the courts of British Columbia. Write to us at [email protected].
