Every menu and what each command does.

Manuscript

About Manuscript Opens the About panel.
Check for Updates Checks for a newer version now.
Settings… Opens the Settings window. See Settings. ⌘,
Open Settings File Opens the same settings as a file, in the app your computer opens .json files with.
Hide Manuscript ⌘H
Hide Others ⌥⌘H
Show All
Quit Manuscript ⌘Q

File

New Manuscript Starts a manuscript in a new window. ⌘N
Open… Opens a manuscript, or imports a draft. ⌘O
Close Closes the window. ⌘W
Save Makes a checkpoint and writes the file. ⌘S
Save As… Saves the manuscript under another name. ⇧⌘S
Export as Markdown… Writes the text as it reads now to a Markdown file.

Edit

Undo ⌘Z
Redo ⇧⌘Z
Cut ⌘X
Copy ⌘C
Copy as Markdown Copies the selection, or the whole manuscript, as Markdown. ⌃⌘C
Paste ⌘V
Select All ⌘A
Find ▸ Find… ⌘F
Find ▸ Find and Replace… ⌥⌘F
Find ▸ Find Next ⌘G
Find ▸ Find Previous ⇧⌘G
Find ▸ Use Selection for Find ⌘E
Check Spelling While Typing Turns the spelling check on or off.

Format

Paragraph Makes a heading a paragraph. ⌃⌘0
Heading 1 to Heading 6 Makes the paragraph a heading at that level. ⌃⌘1 to ⌃⌘6
Raise Heading Moves a heading up a level. ⌃⌘[
Lower Heading Moves a heading down a level. ⌃⌘]

Takes

Add Take Makes the selection a take, or adds another take where the caret is. ⇧⌘E
Show Takes Lists the takes where you are. ⌃Space
Next Take Makes the next take live. ⌥⌘→
Previous Take Makes the previous take live. ⌥⌘←
Settle Take Keeps the live take as plain text. The others are gone. ⌥⇧⌘E
Delete Take Deletes the live take. ⌥⌘⌫
Leave Take Steps the caret out of the take. esc

View

Show Outline / Hide Outline ⌃⌘S
Collapse All Closes every row of the outline but the top-level headings.
Expand All Opens every row of the outline, takes included.
Show History / Hide History Opens or closes History. ⌘3 opens it and goes to it.
