History

Name checkpoints and paths

Checkpoints carry their time. Name the ones you’ll want to find again.

Name a checkpoint

1. Right-click the checkpoint in History.
2. Choose Name this checkpoint…, or Rename this checkpoint… if it has a name.
3. Type the name and press Return.

Name a branch

1. Right-click a point on the branch.
2. Choose Name this path…, or Rename this path… if it has a name.
3. Type the name and press Return.

The line you started on has no name. Only a branch does.

A name is a label. It stays with the checkpoint or the branch you gave it to.
